The Montalban Theater merges many of Hollywood’s favorites all under one massive ‘roof.’ The iconic theater officially kicked off the season and opened its doors for another series of the rooftop cinema club!
Located near Hollywood and Vine the Montalban Theater was built in 1926 and was the first legitimate Broadway-style theatre in Hollywood. Today, guests can gather on top of the theater for film screenings of a few classics – with a twist. Very similar to a backyard BBQ guests can get comfortable in the lounge chairs, have a couple of cocktails from the full bar well as nosh on popcorn and a flavorful menu while taking in the views of Hollywood. Guests will be given headphones for the film as well as blankets to stay warm.
Recently friends and family gathered at the rooftop cinema club for the screening of E.T – The Extra Terrestrial. It’s the 35th Anniversary of the classic film screening it at the Rooftop Cinema Club is only fitting!
There’s a bit of nostalgia that comes along with the property as there is so much history! It’s a touch of old Hollywood glam with a modern twist. Guests will also enjoy the vintage décor and inspirational murals as they make the trek to the roof.
Last years tickets to screenings sold out 95% of the time – the rooftop cinema club has been a hit since the beginning. Be sure to grab your tickets in advance as they will sell out, click HERE to see this seasons full line up. Grab your friends and enjoy a lovely evening at the rooftop cinema club.
